We made a reservation for 8:30 pm and were seated at a s... read more This was our second meal at Damda. The first was average at best. The second - and last - was terrible. We made a reservation for 8:30 pm and were seated at a small, cramped table right in the flow of traffic. Three different appetizers we ordered were no longer available because of the 'busy night we've had' so we finally ended up ordering their soup. It took 50 minutes for the soup to arrive. In the meantime, staff were more concerned with taking care of the restaurant's staff and management who were partying up a storm at a nearby table. When our meals finally arrived mine was awful and not what I ordered. Instead of the 'light jasmine rice' I had a clump of lukewarm vermicelli. I needed a steak knife to cut through my overcooked salmon. The entire dish sat in a bath of oil. We left very frustrated with the entire experience - poor seating, the staff party, the slow service and the quality of the food. Never again.

The food tasted so good it was like a Zen, relaxing and Krista was fabulous taking care of my darling wife and I. Hugs Jim
