Orofino - Fredericksburg

I had a fantastic experience with the set menu for New Year's Eve dinner. The presentation was exceptional, and the staff was incredibly friendly, serving everything promptly. If you're in search of a little slice of Italy here in the States, this is the place to go.

We had a wonderful dinner. I ordered the penne al pomodoro along with a side Caesar salad, while my wife tried the Melenzane e Caprino and the Caprese. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and can confidently say that the Caesar salad is now my absolute favorite; I'm already thinking of ordering it as a main dish with grilled chicken next time. My wife, however, wasn't thrilled with the eggplant dish. She found it to be heavily breaded with too little eggplant and too much sauce. On the other hand, she loved the Caprese and is definitely open to returning, though she won't be choosing the eggplant again. I had an amaretto sour to drink, and my wife went for the sangria; both beverages were excellent.

We went out for a date and have the restaurant special. it was devine. our waiter was knowledgeable. the cost was very reasonable. great experience.

We came to my birthday and had a great time! beautiful greetings and birthday wishes on the door and sitting immediately. calamari (and the Marinara sauce! was amazing! the best I ever had. I also have the suppe that was very beautiful and hearty. we both have the lasagne and tried the spaghetti carbonara. amazing 10/10! our server (shane iliew had amazing energy and vibes and made our night perfect. we love him! we'd call for him next time. he brought 2 wein samples for me to decide about one that was very nice of him. he even brought out a little birthday canoli for me, which was the cherry up on a delightful experience. many thanks to the entire Orofino staff that gave us amazing customer service and we cannot wait to come back!

Our waiter was fabulous! cannot remember his names, but in these days it is very rare to find someone so pleasant!
