VOLT - Feedback

Was Tom Smith at VOLT a mag?
It was our first time at Volt and I have to say we were not disappointed. Every person on the staff was wonderful as was the food. There are some flavor combinations that your not sure about but they were ALL great!!! Will definitely be back again. Did I say how WONDERFUL every single staff member was? That can make a meal just as much as the food. View all feedback.
What Deborah dislikes about VOLT:
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at VOLT. If you enjoy salty dishes, then this is the place for you. However, all I could taste was an overwhelming amount of salt in every bite. View all feedback.

I had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday at this restaurant. I made a reservation only an hour before arriving, and they were able to accommodate me right away.
We had a pretty good experience here but just did not knock my socks off The food was very good and I particularly liked our server.
Located in a beautiful old church this place is fine dining certified.
Everything was excellent with friendly service! We heard this was a favorite of a two Michelin executive chef and we can see why! Will be back very soon! Thank you!!

A recent visit to a Chinese restaurant left diners raving about the best Chinese food they've ever had, particularly praising the shrimp toast, shrimp lo mein, and spicy shrimp with peanuts. The fragrant tea was also a hit. While the food was excellent, some guests found the service lacking, having to request wine refills independently. At another restaurant, despite the loud music and limited cheese options for dessert, guests were impressed by the flavor combinations and attentive staff, making it a dining experience worth repeating. Meanwhile, at Volt, guests were blown away by the impeccable service, unique flavor combinations, and stunning plating, eagerly looking forward to their return. At Wa Jeal, customers enjoyed a delicious and well-priced lunch, praising the scallion pancakes and chicken and broccoli dishes, along with the wonderful ambiance and excellent service. Overall, each restaurant had its strengths and weaknesses, but all left diners satisfied and eager to return.

This restaurant offers more than just food; it provides a dining experience. The cuisine is top-notch, and everything my wife and I selected from the a la carte menu was delicious. The only downside was the dessert option of a cheese plate, as there was only one type of cheese offered. The staff was very attentive and engaging without being overbearing. They answered all of our questions genuinely, making us feel valued. Despite the restaurant being an hour's drive away, we look forward to returning to try the seasonal menu changes. We are highly anticipating our next visit.
Volt is a top notch restaurant in Frederick. The service is beyond the best anywhere. What makes the service so superb is the people. Every server there seems to enjoy their work. Each takes the time to answer questions and smile. Completely enjoyable and professional staff. Do the pairing. The wine is above what you’ll experience anywhere in Frederick. Be prepared to try delicious yet unique foods. We’ve visited the Volt many times since they opened and we’ve never been disappointed. Enjoy!
Impeccable service. Party of flavor combinations and spectacular plating. Can't wait to return. Interesting cocktails--but would have loved a vodka based drink as an option.
Super nice staff made our first experience a joy to be there! The Chef’s menu for brunch was excellent and satisfying. We happened to be the only couple in that particular side of the restaurant and we felt welcome and were treated very well!
Absolutely worth the hype (and the drive from Baltimore). We did the chefs tasting menu and it was incredible.
