Food was very good, staff was attentive, atmosphere was nice.

It was our anniversary. we were here for our also. was a zero with the lockout of the pandemic. Don and the staff (Sierra) were terrific with service and remembering our past experiences at the Red Horse Inn. We are coming back on Friday to savor the Prime Rib feast!! all the best for those who come also. Jim Betty S.

Wonderful food, a quiet atmosphere, and great service.

1st strike is it smells like mold and mildew right when you walk in. I know its supposedly an old place with history but you gotta clean that up. 2nd strike is it comes off as a upscale place, which i can tell it does have that potential or was at onetime. We ordered basic stuff just to feel out the place and it was horrible. The shrimp was half raw. Found out by taste andthen seeing it, probably was freezer burned too. Now the chicken for the kids was actually very good. But more than half oftheir fries was burned or inedible. The vents were filthy with dust. The window where they cook the steaks was filled withgrease and someone thought it was funny to draw a smiley face on it. If thats some type of cool thing for the restaurant thenclean the window.

My mother suggested Red Horse for Thanksgiving when she found out they would be open. Biggest mistake ever. Where to start? I paid $320 for 6 plates of the most average and mundane food ever. Halfway through my Prime Rib I was wondering if Texas RoadHouse was open. The sides were bland at best. The stuffing was literally ripped up hunks of bread with a dash of seasoning. The mash potatoes looked like they were barely drained of water before serving. The culmination was desert. The waiterinformed us that the pies were store bought and we thought he was joking.... I mean, what waiter would admit that? Right? Nope. They were certainly store bought. Maybe week old Giant Food brand pies. My kids didn 't even finish their slices. Couldn 't get out of there fast enough so I didn 't blow my top. #50 on the stand by list at any other place is better thanimmediate entry to Red Horse.
