Sushi enthusiasts are divided over the newly transitioned 5C-House Sushi. While some patrons rave about the fresh fish and delectable eel & cucumber rolls, others report disarray, from messy dining areas to chaotic kitchen antics marked by intense shouting and screaming children. Customers have experienced disappointment with incorrect orders, lukewarm sushi, and questionable practices, like unaccounted coins in change. Still, some find promise in attentive service and generous portions. With a mix of positive and negative feedback, it's unclear whether 5C-House Sushi will live up to its predecessor or continue to struggle with the myriad of operational issues.

Was Eric Schmidt at Sushi Densha a mag?
SO IMPRESSED!! All i got was a eel&cucumber roll, AND IT WAS PERFECT!! rice was soft and the eel was flavorful, cucumber snapped when i bit it, and the flavor was out of this world!! The hostess was polite, food came out fast, and the restaurant was very inviting. seriously, eat here, they deserve your business! View all feedback.

What Doug Vines (Jackmove420) dislikes about Sushi Densha:
Inside the restaurant is dark and gloomy, it did not feel welcoming or inviting. They gave me Miso soup and a free sample of sushi that was deep fried crab with a drizzle of Eel sauce. I should have left at that moment. Food isn 't bad but isn 't good either. The Gyoza are crispy and tasty but come with the smallest amount of sauce possible. The specialty rolls I ordered were large but the rice tasted old and over co... View all feedback.

I get very excited about conveyor belt sushi. The little dishes dance by you and deliver exotic things. I like to watch the food coming and the anticipation is great fun. The problem is when you mix All-You-Can-Eat with the delightful conveyor belt sushi, the end result is an excess of California rolls, spicy tuna rolls and just about everything made with Kani (imitation crab stick). I would recommend that you take a good look at what is on the conveyor belt before you commit to this experience. If you like imitation crab then this is the place for you. If, like me, you prefer salmon, tuna, yellowtail.... then maybe pass this one by. Also, take a look at how busy it is. If the crowd is winding down and it doesn 't look busy, realize that the belt isn 't going to be refilled so what you see is what you get. If it is busy and folks are actively picking from the belt then you know more food will be put out because an empty belt is obviously not good for business. But I do find that these AYCE places tend to put the cheaper items up because there is no way a belt needs THIS many California rolls. I see a lot of items like crab stick and spicy minced tuna made from scraps. While here I didn 't see any sashimi or sushi pieces. I also didn 't see any creative rolls or anything unique. I did see a few vegetarian options, though, which is good. Very few but they were there (cucumber roll, seaweed salad). Lots of dessert items on the belt as well. I think they should call 'All The Crabstick You Can Eat ' buffet instead. Lol. With three fellas making sushi I expected to see maybe a few phillie rolls, maybe some yellowtail, and a shrimp tempura roll. I saw no rolls topped with fish pieces and absolutely no sashimi/sushi pieces. No rolls wrapped creatively, like in cucumber or soy paper, and I didn’t see a single flying fish roe. Just very basic maki rolls. In the end with the lack of variety and my aversion to the crabstick, I only ate about 2 maki rolls worth, which is not worth the $15 for the lunch buffet, in my humble opinion. I hope Sushi Densha sees this and decides that variety is the spice of life. Happy customers come back. Unhappy ones usually don 't.

I should have left at that moment. Food isn 't bad but isn 't good either. The Gyoza are crispy and tasty but come with the smallest amount of sauce possible. The specialty rolls I ordered were large but the rice tasted old and over cooked. There was little to no sauce on the rolls and the crazy dragon roll came with no sauce on it to my surprise. I have had better sushi from a grocery store. The Bamboo roll had sauce but not enough to help with the old/stall rice taste and texture.

Sorry to say this place has really gone downhill with only one server with a whole restaurant service was not good and the food was barely average. I guess new ownership since we first started to go there several years ago
