**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag Experience**
Nestled in a charming locale, this restaurant captivates with its exterior, yet the interior cleanliness leaves room for improvement. Though the food showcases potential, with standout dishes like pancakes and Maryland fried chicken, inconsistencies persist—some orders arrive lukewarm and underwhelming in flavor. Service is a mixed experience; while some staff shine with attentive service, others fall short, causing frustration with drink orders and wait times. While pricing may be on the higher side, the vibrant atmosphere and diverse menu make it an appealing option. This venue could become a favorite with some fine-tuning in service and consistency.

Probably my favorite restaurant in Frederick area. Fried chicken basket is my wife’s favorite and is a very generous portion with awesome cheddar biscuits. Mixed drinks are often very strong which is great for me! I have had nearly everything on themenu and cannot really think of anything to complain about. Prices are reasonable, quality is awesome, service is always fastand professional. Outdoor dining area is great Covid option!
This is an excellent place for dinner! My husband and I tried the deviled eggs, smoked salmon, duck fat fries and watermelon gazpacho. We loved everything, especially the fries! We also enjoyed bread pudding for dessert. The atmosphere is open andrelaxed, you could definitely bring kids here. We will be back!
Perfect brunch spot for a quick meal and the food was really delicious. Hidden spot in Frederick Away from the craziness downtown but close enough to take a stroll and explore Frederick. Ample parking for customers and did I say the food was bomb? The customer service was impeccable and I really had no complaints. I would definitely be visiting again for that biscuit andgravy!
Food was delicious, but a bit pricey. Sides are extra. We had the Short Rib Onion Fondue, Duck Fat Fries, Fried Chicken, and the Nashville Chicken Sandwich. The Napalm Sauce for the Chicken Sandwich did not deserve that name...no heat at all, just feltgreasy...luckily I asked for it on the side and the Sandwich was delicious without it. Only disappointment was the Browniedessert. The ice cream was super delicious, but the brownie was dry. Leonard our Server ACED it, he was friendly, outgoing andefficient. The Restaurant was very cold, bring a sweater. Would Recommend.
Despite having a reservation, we were seated on the patio in January, despite my specific request for an indoor table. The patio heaters were functional, so we tried to overlook that. However, it took 15 minutes just to get water. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, they offered us complimentary biscuits, which was a nice gesture, but it didn't make up for the issues that followed. They forgot my son's drink order, got several of our food orders wrong, and then, to top it all off, my husband paid the bill in cash and was given $2 back instead of the proper change because they rounded down. This was unacceptable. When he attempted to speak to the manager—who appeared to be a teenager and seemed overwhelmed—he was told, "Oh, I can bring you your other dollar..." It's clear that the service needs significant improvement, and the level of unprofessionalism we experienced this time was simply too much for us to overlook.
