Was Anthony at Pistarro's a mag?
Stopped in for a late night meal. Got the pasta bolognese and calamari 6.9/10 overall. Very nice service and waitress. Chill spot. I've been told they are known for their pizza but I had that for lunch. So I'll be back. View all feedback.
What Wildflower Photo Film dislikes about Pistarro's:
I had a terrible experience at Pistarro's last night. Unfortunately, I suffered from severe food poisoning after dinner. Although I've dined here regularly, I won't be returning. I've reported the incident to the Health Department. It's clear that cleanliness is an issue in the kitchen. View all feedback.

This is one of the best pizza places I’ve ever visited. The bread was incredibly fresh, and the pizza itself was outstanding. I also tried the gelato for dessert, and it was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!
I came with my husband for a date night and it was lovely! Our bartender Chloe was great! She was attentive, entertaining and knowledgeable. I'm glad she's attentive with her costumers and she made sure we left happy! We will definitely be back soon!

Though it's slightly off the main streets, this restaurant is definitely worth the detour. The food is both delicious and reasonably priced. Even during the busy evening when the place was packed, the staff paid ample attention to us and we received our order quickly. They offer a heated tent for chilly weather and outdoor tables for summer dining. The pizzas are excellent, and we really enjoyed the gelato as well. They also have draft Peroni on tap. If you’re a fan of Italian cuisine, this is a must-visit spot when you're in Frederick.
This is a wonderful restaurant where you can sit back and unwind. The ambiance is inviting and the food is delightful, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired, which is why I'm giving it a 3 out of 5 stars. The menu is both simple and elegant, and I actually learned more about cheese from it than I ever did on Google! The pizzas are freshly baked, with just the right amount to satisfy one person. The dough is perfectly cooked and soft, and all the pizzas feature a thin crust. The marinara sauce and breads are also freshly prepared and wonderfully soft. However, the spaghetti arrived at our table before we received any cutlery, and the water was served a bit late. Additionally, there was no final call for us. Overall, a decent experience, but there’s room for improvement.
The pizzas were amazing! The crust had a great flavor all by itself. There were plenty of topping choices, including classic flavors and some fun, new combinations. Our top pick was the Funghi. The salads were decent but not extraordinary (although the little bread served with the Caesar salad was fantastic). Next time, we'll probably skip the salads to make more room for pizza! The atmosphere was relaxed, casual, and cozy, which made us feel right at home. Our server was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience.
Pistarro's has a relaxed laid back environment. The staff was kind and attentive. The brick oven pizza is approximately 11 . It is very light with minimal sauce and cheese but the flavor was well balanced. I would highly recommend eating here if your in Frederick.
I have never had a bad meal at Pistarro's. The food is consistently excellent, the menu offers a great variety, and the service is always highly professional. The new dining area has an amazing atmosphere with its rustic charm and large tables. Frederick has many fantastic restaurants, but whenever I visit, I always find myself coming back to Pistarro's.
