When we arrived, we felt a bit confused about the menu options, which could cater to vegans or simply vegetarians. However, our waitress, who was vegan herself, was more than happy to clarify everything for us. The food was absolutely incredible. We started with the enoki tempura, accompanied by a delicious vegan chili mayo. Then we tried the vegan banh mi and the Philly cheesesteak, both of which were fantastic. I h... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gambrill Mt Food Co:
This place has a laid-back vibe with a cozy decor and a friendly, artistic staff. However, I encountered issues with being served non-vegan ingredients despite requesting vegan options. They seem to take their chances with the labeling. Vegetarians and flexitarians, though, have nothing to worry about. The drinks are fantastic! View all feedback.
Eating here is delicous and felt many dinge can be veganized. the charge, the dinge to veganize is steep, but I will be back because is delicous with decent portions. new waitress did not really seem to care that we were vegan. she didn't care to check out a few items she had admitted that she wasn't sure and didn't offer us any vegan items for dessert, so there was a bit stress. but the menu seemed to be clear that we just stuck to the picks that seemed safe.
I hadn’t been able to get to the food truck, but since I had off today, and recently saw on Frederick news post that they opened a shop , I went and got a vegan cheesesteak. I like that they’re protecting their employees during the pandemic, and avoiding interaction with customers by bringing the orders out the door to a table when you arrive. I’ve been mostly avoiding picking up food from anywhere, but their method seems to be pretty good. The vegan cheesesteak was amazing, and I’ll definitely get another one in the future. :0)
The food is so good. Many vegan options. The Philly cheese steak is made with impossible meat. The banh mi is BEAUTIFUL. Make sure you tell them to veganize it- no egg.
The Gambrill Mt. Food Co. food truck currently parks outside Idiom Brewing Co. every Thu Sun, and offers convenient sit down service to brewery patrons. In addition to the vegan Impossible Burger, they offer vegan versions of most of their other menu items. This weekend, my fellow vegan friend and I shared two really tasty and satisfying sandwiches for lunch: Cheesesteak with impossible beef, caramelized onions, mushrooms, cherry peppers, vegan mayo vegan provolone. Banh mi sandwich with roast tempeh, soy glaze, Asian pickled vegetables, red cabbage, cucumber, enoki mushroom, cilantro, vegan mayo, crispy garlic and nori on a toasted French roll. Portions are very generous, so this lunch tided us over for the remainder of the day!
The honest option here the food was terrific and worth the price; everything I tried was perfect, and the bartender was terrific. I gave three stars for the atmosphere because I didn't know why the place was not packed; maybe the parking situation, but this is a beautiful place for date nights and good food. The owner needs to work on getting more people in the door.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options here....
