Frederick Social

We came with friends to frederick social and enjoy the beer and the vegan options.

The food and beer are really high quality. The atmosphere is relaxed, with lots of ways to entertain adults and kids.

We stopped at this restaurant while passing through Maryland, and I really wish it were closer because I would visit all the time. The owner was a genuinely nice gentleman, and he and his wife follow a mostly vegan lifestyle. I loved the concept of self-serve beer on the wall, along with plenty of games for kids and ample seating. My food was incredibly fresh! I had the blackberry and peach salad, and I also tried the sweet potato tacos, which can all be made vegan. My partner had the brisket flatbread, and we polished our plates clean. This restaurant offers a wide variety of vegan dishes and options. During our visit on Saturday, there was live music, creating a lively atmosphere. It's a very casual and family-friendly spot, complete with a playground for young children and games like Yahtzee for everyone to enjoy. The beer selection primarily features microbrews and IPAs, ensuring there's something for everyone. I can't believe I hadn't discovered this place sooner!

Frederick should offer more vegan-friendly options like Frederick Social! I absolutely love this place because they made three of my favorite dishes vegan: nachos, tacos, and salad! The nachos are delicious, topped with a fantastic spicy cream-based sauce, possibly a mix of sour cream? However, the chips weren't all that great. The melted cheese paired with sweet potato is a wonderful choice. I do wish they offered guacamole with the nachos! The salad was fresh and perfect, and the fruity flavors were delightful. The only downside is that the nachos are a massive portion, so I couldn't enjoy the tacos as well! I will definitely be coming back!
