Common Market - Frederick
Common Market
Description
A beloved Frederick market and café blends bright, clean spaces with an extensive selection of organic, locally sourced produce, meat and dairy, plus many gluten-free and specialty items for health-conscious shoppers. Prices are sometimes higher than small competitors but often reflect quality; several staples remain reasonably priced. Patrons praise the store’s layout and knowledgeable staff, though service can be inconsistent — with reports of rude checkout behavior and occasional overcharging. Overall it’s a dependable destination for fresh, specialty groceries and café fare, but customer service needs attention.

First time here and could be intimidating! A woman was there to help me with my questions! Good experience.
Good selection of natural/organic items. It definitely comes with a price, many things are expensive but you know that going in. Some things are reasonable, bread, glass bottle milk, and bulk items. One time we did get bulk item and there were bugs in it! We did return it but it’s put us off of using the bulk items. I’m not sure if it’s ever cleaned or checked. Glass bottle local milk is the best. Bring the glass back for the credit you paid for it. Also really nice selection of chocolates and sweets. We don’t buy meat there just due to price. Overall good it is a good specialty store. Cashiers are nice.
Love the organic selection, dietary restricted food choices and got to love their very helpful staff
