Every single tab... read more We went for family style service (which is more expensive than buffet) at my wedding, and there was frankly just not enough food on the tables. Every single table ran out (literally, 0 leftovers), and multiple guests joked about how hard it was to get food.Additionally, several of the menu items were noticeably lower quality than what we were served at the tasting. Canapes was themost expensive caterer we interviewed; we went with them on the assurance that we were paying a premium for excellence. Theirstaff is excellent, amazing customer service. But making sure that there's enough food for all the guests is the bareminimum. And yes, we provided a complete guest list multiple weeks prior to the event. Due to last minute drop outs, there wereactually fewer people in attendance than the number we paid Canapes for.
