Beef Wellington was very poor, it was bland and appeared to be slow cooked shredded beef stuffed into a pastry. Completely of the mark. Wouldn't have any issue if it was a weather spoons etc, but I know this place can produce good food and is better than that. Had lunch with friends at the Ship, opted for a chicken stuffing sandwich which came with salad a jug of gravy. Very nice. It was very quiet, not much atmosphere but the staff were lovely. Could have been warmer, ended up putting my coat on. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
We have visited here many times, The food and service have been fantastic. We went yesterday for a Sunday roast and I lost say it was lovely and this will be our new Sunday lunch spot.
