The atmosphere wa... read more I visited here this evening December with my wife and year old daughter(and dog). The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly also. The food was delicious. Plenty on your plate, fresh and full of flavour. Anyone...complaining about the price, maybe read good before you go and view the menu, then if its too much don't go! We had starters and main courses, also drinks each. Still only came to pounds. Can't complain at all on a Sat evening. Will definitely visit again

It was bland and unappet... read more I visited the Ship last night, I am a regular and have been dining there for years. I ordered the Mushroom pot pie and it was terrible. It was bland and unappetizing. The dish used canned mushrooms, mushy potatoes, and frozen carrots in a watery sauce. It was a disappointing meal and a waste of money. It's unfortunate because the food used to be delicious here. Every time they update the menu, the quality seems to decline. I will not be returning to eat there again.
