I subscribe to all that MauretoRamone reported in the previous comment, adding that – from ice cream enthusiast and ex-gelatiere hobbista, while having a minimum of knowledge of the matter I was simply *exterrefied*. The product proposed by this ice cream shop is simply another category: we are not even talking about gourmet ice creams, a modal definition that I would find quite reductive for the creations found here... I was advised this ice cream shop by a friend and I wanted to try and I can say that I was pleasantly amazed. The first impact from outside was not the best, because however it is a slightly dated ice cream parlor. But a magnificent discovery was 1 see how many types of ice cream taste there are and especially those to wine that are a brilliant idea. And 2 the taste of ice cream that is delicious. It is felt that raw materials and creaminess are used to let you out. Once you're done, you'll get another one. I highly recommend to all to go, also because in addition to all these positive notes, there is a beautiful view on Rome.
Craft excellence. Seasonal and very special tastes. The selection of wine-based ice creams is worth a trip here.
A master ice cream maker of great experience, passion and inventiveness, a deep connection with the territory, its products and flavors for a natural ice cream (whose tastes are therefore linked to the seasonal availability of the products). And then, the possibility to taste how much elsewhere introvabile: malvasia and orange, prosecco and peach, red wine and pomegranate, strawberries and Muscat, and much more. This next to traditional tastes. Go on, take a few more meters than the classic places of the Frascatano ostrich, and you will be rewarded by an extraordinary ice cream, made with natural products, which you can enjoy next door, in a park overlooking the capital.

If there was a Michelin guide for the ice cream parlors, here we would be on the three full stars. In essence, this place, now referred to as Gelati Di Vini, deserves a visit from outside the region, as it is exceptional. Exceptional.
Basically what a bar was turned into an amazing ice cream parlor. Initially gourmet ice creams were relegated to a few tastes, fruit of the manager's passion, along with those so to speak traditional. Archived the experience of the bar and turned to all effects in a full-time ice cream shop, the choice has expanded, and I assure you that every taste is something unique. A crazy research in finding the right balance between combinations and combinations, sometimes even bold but perfect. In the photo I put those available in April 2022. I am a little years old that I go to get ice cream from him, every time it is a unique experience. It is located in a corner of Cocciano, district at the foot of Frascati. It is really worth it, if you think that at the same price you take something industrial full of dyes and preservatives.
