King Tiger Eastern Eating House - Feedback

Was Nav at King Tiger Eastern Eating House a mag?
The spring rolls and curry puffs were really good, but the chicken tikka was disappointing. It was tough and seemed overcooked. However, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. View all feedback.

Wonderful service, food, decor and drink specials. We had a lovely evening there and recommend you stop by at happy hour and stay for dinner. They have a huge menu and the Thai Green Curry was the best I've had. Thanks Paolo for wonderful service!
My husband and I had been on the road for about 9-10 hours. We arrived in town at around 7pm and by then we were exhausted and hungry for a decent feed. A quick google search for recommended eats in the area brought us to King Tiger. Not only were they highly recommended, the variety of options available impressed us. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated. I loved the variety of the menu, ranging from Indian, Thai, Chinese and a bit of Vietnamese. We ordered our food- I had the Thai chilli basil and my husband had the sweet and sour pork. The servings were decent and satisfied two hungry travellers! I recall looking at my husband after my first bite, saying “yum!”. He too had a similar reaction to his meal. On our second night we were struggling to find another restaurant that appealed to us, of course we decided to dine at King Tiger again. It was nice of the waiter to remember us! This time we ordered the chilli chicken (this was the standout dish), the Thai beef salad (it was your standard Thai beef salad but good nonetheless) and the prawn Tom yum soup. I personally would have liked the soup to be sweeter by adding some pineapples but overall it wasn’t bad. We enjoyed our meal once again. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. There is a very high chance that my husband and I will be dining here again before we leave!
Had dinner with my family. Fantastic service with friendly staff. The food is great and all of us enjoyed ourselves.
A wonderful atmospheric restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff and great Eastern decor. We had the shitake mushroom steamed dumplings followed by chicken Massaman curry and naan bread. Steamed rice was included free of charge. Beautiful flavoursome food in ample quantity. If we were staying longer we would definitely return for another meal!
Great Indian and Asian food! The staff is friendly and the quantity and quality of food is amazing! The staff was helpful enough to keep the kitchen running a bit later than their closing time. It's recommended to try this restaurant in Frans Joseph!
