We didn't eat here as didn't have time, but menu looked good and food looked amazing from what we saw coming out. We came here for drinks and loved the atmosphere and general vibe. This is the place to be for a night out in franz josef, great music, pool table, nice choice of drinks. Roaring fire.. ski lodge vibe. Really cosy! View all feedback.
Food was great! Be sure to get the ribeye and seafood chowder they are the best I’ve had!
Superrrrrrr Great experience! Super nice night enjoyed. Have to say Monsoon is the best restaurant of my first trip in NZ. Wine and food matches so great. All the people there are very nice! Trust their suggestions! It won’t let you down.
My wife and I arrived in France Joseph late. After passing through about four towns that were completely dead, we feared that we were not going to be able to find food and would go to bed hungry. Hoping to find a petrol station that was open to score some 2 minute noodles we found monsoon, not only did we get an epic dinner but the atmosphere was fantastic. Service was friendly and timely and meat lovers pizza does not disappoint.
Really delicious food. It can be crowded, but it's worth the wait
We were so delighted to choose this restaurant for dinner! Since we’ve had the best chowder and steak, compare to my 20yrs dinning in Australia! Even the roasted veggies and potatoes tastes so much better than the ones we had in Aus.
