7 of us ate, 4 adults 3 children. We chose the restaurant because it had Gluten Free options. We all tried each others meal, as we were all boosting about the flavours, and were blown away by each dish. If you are in town its definitely worth stopping by.P.S the heat was OK for all of us and we don't all like spicy foods. View all feedback.
What Rohith Ganesan doesn't like about Aviators Cafe:
Gordon Ramsay Should try this one day!! Worst experience! Lamb shank had no flavor and it was cooked right out of the freezer. Wok was better. The place was understaffed and with 1 waiter helping everyone. Asked for an extra fried rice and he refused that he wanted to serve other tables first. Charged a 15% surcharge because of Christmas season but it won’t show up on the bill. View all feedback.
Seven of us dined together—four adults and three children. We picked this restaurant specifically for its gluten-free options. We shared and sampled each other’s meals, and the flavors were truly impressive; we were all blown away by every dish. If you find yourself in town, it's definitely worth a visit. P.S. The spice levels were manageable for all of us, and not everyone in our group enjoys spicy food.
We had a fantastic meal! My two friends and I are biking the Tour Aotearoa and were in need of a hearty, delicious meal. We were extremely pleased with both the service and the food. I would definitely dine here again!
Avoid this place! The food was disappointing—the fish had a jelly-like texture, and we even found cardboard on the plate. I’m still searching for any hint of garlic in the garlic bread... it was terrible!
Gordon Ramsay should consider visiting this restaurant someday! I had the worst experience. The lamb shank was completely flavorless and seemed like it had been cooked straight from the freezer. The food from the wok was better. The restaurant was understaffed, with only one waiter trying to manage all the tables. When I requested an extra fried rice, he refused, prioritizing other tables instead. They also added a 15% surcharge for the Christmas season, but it won’t be reflected on the bill.
This restaurant has only recently been opened. We were the only ones dining there, but it deserved to be busier, as the food was delicious, and prices no dearer than other, less interesting eateries.
