Not for everyone. Some people need fancier diggs. But this is a staple good old fashioned American Burger Place. Priced Right! A place you take your kids! Bathrooms still need to be cleaner. So I left a very negative review of my first experience at steak ‘n shake in illinois. we have decided to give them another shot here where we live now. this place turned it around for us! the food was well prepared and tasted worlds better than the first. and the customer service was at night and day! so friendly, fast and easy to refresh! we will not have a problem here! Place was closed by 10:30PM even though their hours are listed as open til midnight. Really unhappy about it. Well deserved 1 star. Change your listed hours.
