Ice Point Cafe - Franklin

The sushi featured generous portions of avocado and salmon, which was definitely a highlight! However, the sushi rice itself lacked the essential flavors of vinegar and salt, making it rather bland until I added those at home. While they do provide pickled ginger and low-sodium condiment packets, I believe that the rice should be seasoned properly from the start, rather than relying on extras. The interior of the restaurant was pleasant, and the prices were reasonable. After evaluating the service and friendliness, I would recommend giving this place a try. However, I wouldn't suggest it for pho! Haha.

I have seen some reviews in regards to a change in the business and I will say yes, it has happened but it’s still a wonderful place! It was just new staff in training. I think people forget that which is a shame. My family and I get the mango tango rolls and those are so so delicious! We’ve been coming here for ages and will continue to come here when we get the chance. We recently got them not too long ago and they tasted the exact same per usual. I always love going here. I will proceed to keep coming here as long as it is still running. The owner is so kind and remembers a face and that’s not something many businesses have; that homey-feel to it! The food was pretty good but the boba tea was bland and the tapioca wasn’t chewy (probably over cooked). I would come here again for food but not boba. Food: 3
