What RachelN likes about 1799 Kitchen And Cocktails:
Booked a brunch time during their Elvis Brunch theme. Had I known it was going to be an Elvis impersonator singing karaoke, my husband and I would have brunched elsewhere. This is Nashville, residents have higher standards and expect an Elvis impersonator playing the guitar. View all feedback. What RhondaH doesn't like about 1799 Kitchen And Cocktails:
We have dined at 1799 several times. We find the service to be hit or miss. The menu is mediocre. Customers are often left disappointed by experimental and lackluster dishes, despite a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Some highlights include the bison steak and house-made sorbets, but overall the menu falls short of expectations. However, the presentation and taste of the food make for a fine dining experience suitable for special occasions. While there are some misses, the restaurant continues to attract regulars with its comfortable vibe and promising seasonal offerings. A visit may be worth it for those looking for a unique dining experience in Franklin.
