If you like a laid back ‘dive’ experience with 5 star quality food, this is the place for you! We ate until we were stuffed to the gills and every bite was delicious and satisfying. We had fried asparagus, Brussels sprouts, Mississippi catfish, garlic and cheese grits, crawfish pie, fried oysters, pulled pork BBQ. Oh, and the homemade french bread is to die for as well! Could not recommend this place enough. We will... View all feedback.
What Jamie S doesn't like about Rick's White Light Cajun Diner:
We are so sad that this place is closed…the sign on the door said ‘closed for a break’ and there was a for sale sign on the side of the building. They have such delicious food so I’m hoping they open back up again in the future!! View all feedback.
Gave a star because required to. Tried to eat here today and the sign said on break . Disappointed.
Great food! As seen on Triple D!! Muffuletta was superb!
Very, very neat place to eat! Food is fantastic and made from scratch! Worth the trip to try it out! Rick joked that this is the only restaurant in town
We got three meals, serious issues with all three. Burger was beyond well done and totally dried out. Crawfish pie seemed to have been re-heated about 4 times, it was also dry and the only thing you could taste was the spice. The shrimp po boy wasn’t too bad, but the remoulade was indistinguishable from mayo, and the hush puppies were overdone and inedible. If Triple D were to return, they’d be very disappointed.
Wish I could comment on the food, but the staff were so inattentive they didn’t even acknowledge our presence for five minutes. Told to sit outside and they’d be right with us 8 more minutes with absolutely no contact so we went elsewhere.
