Frankfort Take-out

A local chef has started a take-out service in Frankfort Tues-Friday from 11-2 (or 3). They are serving out of the American Legion Hall. They opened in the spring of 2014 and we just finally made it there today. The food was DELICIOUS. We had the Red Cabbage Salad and the Chicken Corfa Orzo. They were so great and perfectly seasoned that neither my husband or I add any salt or pepper, which is rare for us. I talked to the owner/chef and he says that he hopes to open a small restaurant in Frankfort in about 2 years, with 6-8 tables. That would be awesome. I will have to say that the prices were a bit high (our lunch was $20), especially for take-out, but the portions were substantial and like I already said the food was great. Summer 2016 update: Bummer. They are out of business. The owner got a job as the Head chef at a fancy restaurant.

The food was great!!!! The owner his daughter were really nice. I look forward to going back !!!!

The meal was amazing! Had to try after a sneak peak at the art center. So fresh , so what this town needs. Something new , ethnic, and delicious !!!

Delicious! I'm telling everyone about the fabulous Pork Shish and Mediterranean Salad. Thank you for coming to Frankfort.

The food is superb, with great flavors! The food surpasses the surrounding restaurants. The Pork Kabob, Orzo salad, Shish Tavuk (chicken) Kabob, Chicken Tava, and the Adana Kabob are my personal favorites. Presentation is also outstanding. Frankfort Takeout is a great edition to the small town of Frankfort.
