Betsie River Campsite - Frankfort

This beautiful, wooded campsite offers clean bathrooms with warm showers and a delightful breakfast served at the café. It’s conveniently located just three miles from Lake Michigan, with a paved path leading there. The owners are attentive and responsive to guests' needs. You can rent bikes or kayaks and even have your propane tanks refilled. We've been coming here for years, and it's always a great experience!

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The customer support was outstanding, as the owner even helped me locate the power switch in my camper. They also have a fish cleaning station right by the railway, and the atmosphere is very child-friendly. I'm looking forward to coming back again and again!

An RV group we belong to recommended this campsite, and we’re so glad we decided to give it a try. It’s peaceful and beautiful, and the staff were incredibly courteous! As newcomers, we needed a lighter, and a staff member came out of the office to show my partner how to use it. We also forgot to bring butter for cooking our eggs and making muffins, but they kindly provided some for us. The staff truly went above and beyond, and we will definitely be back!

Horrible customer service. Staunchly stood by a “policy” that was not posted anywhere in the office, nor on the website. Not to mention, site was FILLED with poison ivy. Will never stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay this week in one of the cabins. it was clean and cozy. Nicely maintained property. Cafe breakfast was delicious. We will miss the Moomers cow pies from the shop as well.
