We came as a big group to celebrate my friend's birthday. The restaurant was very accommodating to keep the birthday cake in the fridge and putting the flowe bouquet in their vase to present on our table. Also very friendly staff! Most of us had the 4-course meal. $36 for 4 course meal. It's a great deal! I had hummus, sigara borek, Manti and rice pudding. Everything was delicious but the most I was impressed was the... What squid s doesn't like about Smyrna:
Ah, so disappointed despite wanting to enjoy some Greek/Turkish food and support the woman owned business. We ordered the 4 course meal for $38 per person. Chicken Souvlaki/Chicken skewers has absolutely no flavor/seasoning/dry/bland with rice and slaw. $5 for a can of soda, come on, absolutely ridiculous. $11 for baked rice pudding with no flavor. $10 for 2 very small pieces of chocolate baklava. With tip, 1 can of soda and 4 course meal was $65 per person. Portions so small and just too expensive for bland meal. Service was good and clean restaurant with Greek tavern vibe. Will not return.
Decent spot but I really don’t understand all the hype. The food was all very bland and tasted like something I could make. It was also very pricey. My wife and I spent over $100 for a dinner with no drinks. If you are looking for better flavor at an affordable price, just go to CAVA.
Fantastic Greek restaurant with fresh and flavorful dishes. Their brunch menu with $2 mimosas is divine.
Great food and service. Good atmosphere on the patio.
As a Turkish American who grew up eating a lot of Turkish food, I was thrilled to find this gem. Food is fresh, nice presentation, and flavors are on point. Our server was lovely. I was sorry that I could not tell the chef in person “elinize sağlık” for such a delicious lunch. I will definitely be back !
