Franconia Inn
Franconia Inn
Description
The Franconia Inn offers a blend of charm and challenges. While the stunning lobby and characterful lounge invite guests to relax, some accommodations are in dire need of renovation, with outdated rooms and a lack of essential amenities. The location is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, and friendly staff often go above and beyond to assist guests, making for memorable experiences. Although the in-house dining may not meet expectations, there are plenty of nearby dining options. With recent ownership changes, many hope for improvements that will elevate this unique destination to its full potential. Overall, it remains a quaint spot worth exploring.

We hosted a weekend long wedding celebration at the Franconia Inn. Andrew and Linda were amazing. They worked with us to create a spectacular experience for our guests. The food was great, it offers a variety of unique guest activities, and the location is stunning. The Inn has the classic New England charm that we were looking for. Everyone who attended had a great time and we look forward to returning again. Rooms: 3
I have been going to The Franconia Inn since I was a young child. Absolutely love this gem of an inn. Very historical inside and lovely views outside. Just stayed for the weekend again this past weekend. So much New England charm. Excited to stay again at The Inn again this winter and go cross country skiing on the property. Loved it! We are locals who in the past enjoyed dining at the Franconia Inn. During Covid and through the sale of the property, dining and service became hit and miss, so we just stayed away. Tonight we tried it again, and it was a completely different and wonderful experience. The new chef was offering smoked pork ribs, and we gave them a try. Wow, some of the best ribs I have ever experienced, and the appetizer was huge. Our waitress, Rose, was so gracious and kind, and we will defiantly be going back. Congratulations to the new owners for their efforts, and we feel it is on track to be very successful. If you have had a bad experience in the past few years, trust it is turned around and you should support their efforts. Kindly, Terry
Located by a grassy airstrip adjacent to a stud farm. Excellent place to camp for a week and disconnect from everyone. The place has a swimming pool and a bunch of tennis courts. Loved it, wish I could stay more. While the place may appear desolate the area is dotted with houses on big lots. Only downside, the rooms are a bit small, not. Big enough to fit a family
