Contribute Feedback What Kathryn Doherty likes about Cj's Northside Grill:
CJs consistently delivers quality food and service. Love this local indie restaurant that is a neighborhood gem. Love the breakfast-all day. Yummy comfort dishes like meatloaf, chicken pot pie and Thanksgiving dinner make this a perfect spot for all ages. My kids say the cheeseburger is the best. Try the roast beef on an onion roll with a side of onion rings. Mmmm View all feedback.
What Michael Solt doesn't like about Cj's Northside Grill:
CJ's has that comforting local small diner look and feel inside. Not expected by the outside if you just drive by.Service was nice, helpful, and pleasant greeting as you enter. Well done KaylinCajun chicken sandwich was their already grilled chicken breast with a dusting of Cajun spice and chipotle mayo. Good, but was hoping for the real thing. Onion rings were thick battered and done right, sometimes more batter tha... View all feedback.
So CJ's is on my way to work everyday and I've stopped over a few times. The food is decent and I haven't had an issue good portions. Decently priced considering the economy. Customer service is where it goes down hill. You either get a great service or lousy service and they are understaffed and some of the servers don't know the menu or the product. Also healthy wise they have leaks coming from the roof you can see when you are sitting at single seating over by the TV dripping on everything. Anyways I hope they fix the leaks and train there staff better. If they do I'll add more stars cause I want this place to succeed. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly diner Parking: Good amount of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible
Food is okay but the service is horrendous! I will never spend my money here again and would not suggest this establishment to anyone. The staff is a lot of young high school girls who are rude and not very attentive to the customer and their needs or concerns. If you scroll down to recent reviews you can see for yourself how disrespectful and antagonistic they are when responding to negative reviews. I was appalled to see some of their responses. Everyone is going through tough times but that is certainly not an excuse to disrespect your paying customers. I have NEVER in my life seen such awful customer service skills. It takes so much less effort to simply apologize and find out what you can do to make things right for an unhappy customer. Whoever owns this family business needs to have a talk with their team because this is NOT how you stay in business.
CJs food is delicious but their physical and online menu doesn't detail what is in their food! Ordered the cheesy tots thinking they were cheesy tots and lo and behold there's meat in them. Not vegetarian or food-allergen friendly at ALL. Vegetarian options: Same as dietary restrictions- not enough info. Dietary restrictions: Not enough details on their menu for people with food allergies and restrictions.
Alright, I dropped in around 10am the place is clean, and bathrooms are in good shape. I had an omlete which did the job but nothing great. The breakfast sandwich wasn't fancy but did the job. If you're hungry and want a friendly smile, then this is a good place, but if you're looking for fancy, keep driving.
