Finally had the chance to stop for dinner. We both had the ribeye steaks, which were cooked perfectly as ordered. The staff was great even though they were busy and helped each other out well. What User doesn't like about Kane's Catfish, Seafood Steakhouse:
We ordered a mixed fish platter, fried shrimp, and a serving of boiled shrimp. Unfortunately, the only side options were French fries or shiny fries, which were unsatisfactory. I didn't finish my meal, but was still charged as if I had. My partner's dish was also lacking. The boiled shrimp tasted like cold, wet rubber—if rubber had any flavor at all.

The fish was delicious as always . Different people have told that the steak and blooming onion is good

The stuffed crabs are made well, even though prepackaged are better than someothers you'll find available.
We ordered a mixed fish and fried shrimp platter, along with a pound of boiled shrimp. To my dismay, the only side options available were French fries or coleslaw, as they had run out of everything else, which I don't eat. Despite that, we were still charged as if we ordered a full meal. My husband's platter was also disappointing. The boiled shrimp tasted cold and rubbery—if rubber had a flavor, it would have been more enjoyable than what we received. My platter contained just two tiny fish fillets, six fried shrimp, and about fifteen French fries. For this underwhelming feast, we ended up paying $40. Overall, everything about this place was disappointing. I would not recommend it and certainly won’t be returning!

We visited this restaurant after watching a parade in Columbia with a group of around 35 people. Despite the large party, everything went smoothly—our orders were taken efficiently, and the food and service were outstanding. Although they were very busy, we were all well taken care of.
