Pickle Banh Mi Co - Fountain Valley

I got their #6 cold cut but just the red meat Saigon bacon banh mi sandwich along with a custom made goi cuon shrimp and pork spring roll no vermicelli bun noodles but extra lettuce. They made it perfectly and they understood my bad Vietnamese haha. Anyhow, for both items, it was $10.06, so cheap. The sandwich was so delicious wow! And it?s not like the other pickle sandwich spot on brookhurst in garden grove, the bread here wasn?t so ?bready?, it was less of the whitebread part which made it low carb. They made my sandwich correctly and my low carb spring rolls as well. Wow! A Vietnamese place that makes your order right is sometimes rare. This place did it right for sure. The banh mi sandwich had itsown customized sauce, like caramelized onion sauce of some sort.. so good, it really made the sandwich stand out. You can see from the pictures. There?s a drive through so it?s super Covid safe and there is plenty of parking if you want togo in and order. After the pandemic, I?ll be back here for sure and I hope many people do the same. Stopped in the morning for breakfast. Ordered a banh mi sandwich with iced coffee. It was delicious or I was very hungry. Also, it?s well maintained (clean). For credit card, there?s $10 minimum charge.

The cashiers are rude with always with mad face appearance. This place is stuck-up cause they only sell egg rolls and plain baguettes in pair. Food is ok not good as Carrot and Daikon Banh Mi. Even THH Banh Mi is 2 street lights down are 2x better than Pickle Banh Mi.

Their sandwiches are way better and tastier than Lee's Sandwich. I didn't rate 5 stars a long time ago because I wanted them all to myself without the long lines. Guilty.

I hope they survive but they keep increasing the price of sandwiche that?s it?s ridiculous to pay almost $7 for a sandwiche banh mi. At THH it?s still $5+ which is reasonable considering Banh Mi used to cost $4+ couple yrs ago. You end up not buying bc of how ridiculous whether you can afford or not cuz no one wants to be overcharge and it keeps increasing again and again. Just months ago, it was $6.50 now increased again to almost $7. Overall, they are losing customers.And profit less bc of it.
