Although some people mentioned it might be a bit polluted these days, we took the necessary precautions, like avoiding swallowing the water and showering afterward in the makeshift showers at the campsite. The pub's interior was quirky and interesting, but since we visited during the recent heatwave, most patrons were seated outdoors on benches with a lovely view of the river. Just a heads up about the swans—they can be a bit assertive! The food was simple but affordable. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit. We walked from Tewkesbury, mainly along the river, and found the walk to be easy during the day.
