Our waiter had very bad breath, which isn 't necessarily his... read more My friend and I go to a lot of Mexican places around Cincy. We tried out Mi Tierra this afternoon. Our waiter had very bad breath, which isn 't necessarily his fault and I hate to bring it up but it made talking to him difficult, especially since he barely knew any English. The salsa tasted kinda paste-like. The chips were decent. The tortilla shell of my taco salad was good and fresh. The rest was mediocre. My friend ate her taco. The horchata was watered down. The waiter ARGUED when we wanted the chorizo dip taken off the bill. Pictured below, it is very clear that the oil was not drained before being put into the cheese and it tasted so bad I wouldn 't let my friend try it. The waiter said but you ORDERED it! and we said Yeah, but LOOK at it. he continued to argue with the checkout guy too. We will not be returning. I would recommend going to Tres Amigos, Mi Cozumel or literally anywhere else before coming here, at least during lunch.

When the ticket came... read more One of our order was for kids size of chicken pollo that is priced $7.99 on the menu. We order this because we have kids 3 and 2 years old. When the ticket came out we were charged with $10.99 (adult size) because the guy from the cashier said my wife took a bite. Whether she took a bite or not, is irrelevant as we get a kids size portion. This is the second time we had bad experience with this restaurant and I give them a pass the first time. This is disgusting. I hope this does not happen to others.
