What Clint L doesn't like about O'reilly's Irish Bar Restaurant:
Thank God we weren't here for food because I'm guessing it would have been cold by the time it was served!! The service was Sooo damn SLOW!! It wasn't the servers fault that the bartender was AWFUL! She couldn't keep up with the 3 people at the bar let alone the 70 people sitting in the dining area! Just awful service...awful!! View all feedback.
On a recent visit to Fort Wayne, I was able to try the food at O'Reilly's Irish Pub. From the moment I arrived in Indiana, I was encouraged to try the infamous Indiana pork tenderloin sandwich. When I discovered that O'Reilly's carried it, I immediately ordered one, plain. When it arrived, I was very pleased. I ordered my sandwich plain and found that, though it was thicker than I'd expected, it was utterly delicious. The breading was pleasing, and the meat was well-cooked. Sometimes you worry about this type of sandwich being greasy, but this sandwich had an excellent flavor without being heavy. In fact, this sandwich was good enough that I can't wait to come back to Indiana to have another. The Caesar salad was decent, though I wish the dressing had been tangier. My companion had the Guinness beef stew and thought the flavor was had an overall good flavor, though it could have offered more meat and vegetables. The service was okay, but we had to look for our server a couple of times. Overall, this was a good stop for dinner in Fort Wayne.
This pub and restaurant is located not very far from the convention center so it is convenient to drop by for a quick lunch or dinner and a drink. The prices have gone up quite a bit but we cannot fault the restaurant since our current inflation is caused by the Biden administration that is still trying to spend more of our taxpayers' money to continue funding and pushing for the war in Ukraine as well as other projects that don't necessarily improve Americans' lives and our economy. You could still get a quick good meal here cheaper than what you would have to pay at other higher-end restaurants nearby. The food is decent and good for how much you pay in this area, and the waitress I had for both nights is efficient and friendly.
Your typical dive bar with solid food and service. Reliable describes them in one word. Located in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne, this is a good spot to get some good, quick food before a baseball game or concert. The Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious and their chicken tenders and fries were perfect. Server was fast and attentive.

Menu says smash patties for patty melt's. They are not. They are same shaped previously frozen tasteless dense junk. No thousand island dressing and just soaked in grease. Service was excruciatingly slow to non existent. Took over 15 minutes to get a pitcher of beer and we were the only ones there. Do yourself a favor and never go here.
