Feedback
The meal began on a high note with some incredibly tasty flatbread, but unfortunately, the rest of our dining experience quickly declined. We ordered a fish sandwich and one of the last four burgers available. The burger was overcooked and quite dry, and although I opted for truffle fries to accompany it, they tasted just like the regular fries that came with the other sandwich. As for the fish sandwich, it was underwhelming—soggy and lacking in flavor. What added to our frustration was when a manager approached our table halfway through the meal to ask about our experience with the fish sandwich and the mustard tartar sauce. We mentioned that we couldn’t really taste the sauce and asked if it was supposed to be served on the side. He confirmed it was, and when we noted that we hadn’t received any sauce, he simply responded, “oops, that’s the best part,” before walking away. I’ve never encountered a manager who would dismiss feedback like that. It was honestly quite unbelievable.
I had an amazing dining experience from the moment I arrived until I left. Great job!
I visited Catablu Grille tonight for dinner. Since the Mexican restaurants were packed for Cinco de Mayo, we decided to come here early for a Mother’s Day dinner. I really enjoy the atmosphere, the service is consistently good, and the food is excellent. We tried the Curry Carrot soup, which was delicious. They offer great drinks and a nice selection of gluten-free options. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was fantastic, as was the bread assortment with olive topping. We both loved the Cashew Cauliflower Bowl with chicken. That said, I was shocked by how expensive the food has become. The Cashew Cauliflower Bowl was $20, with an additional $7 for the chicken. Prices are definitely getting out of control. Overall, I love the food and drinks here, but I’d suggest coming for lunch instead.
Catablu provides an impressive selection of fine dining options, including steaks and seafood. The restaurant is suitable for a range of occasions, from a romantic date night to a large business dinner. I've tried both fish and beef dishes, and each was cooked to perfection. They have also expanded their seating area onto the sidewalk, allowing for more outdoor and three-season dining options. The service has consistently been knowledgeable and friendly.
Tonight's dinner was outstanding. The service was impeccable. I ordered the 6 oz filet mignon, cooked medium rare, and it was done to perfection and beautifully sauced. The roasted asparagus, fingerling potatoes, and mushrooms made for a lovely and complementary side dish. Every aspect of service at Catablu is carried out flawlessly, and their commitment to excellence is evident to those who appreciate it. My partner had the chopped salad and couldn't stop praising it. Since it was Pad Thai night, he thoroughly enjoyed that as well. Catablu's menu changes frequently, always featuring creative and delicious options.
