wherever you are. The road is worth it! the brisket was smokey and moist, even without a drop of sauce. the claw was crispy, but not too sweet. the fried okra has restored my belief in the humanity. they even have the good ice! when they pass this BBQ-Page without stopping, they will regret the rest of their journey! Ok food, first time here, i got the chicken and cheese, i feel like they added too much chicken, every time i would bite it, a piece of chicken would fall of, their cheese is unoriginal, tastes like normal cheese you would get from Walmart. their mac and cheese is barely above average. it tastes like any normal mac and cheese. i heard somebody saying kids eat free on sunday, i dont know if that is true. they sell fri... Got it to go ...but can't beat the BBQ...service great...pricey by our standards but everything is getting that way. Went at 7 pm today they were out of almost everything. It was not that busy and they had me there standing there for about 10 minutes waiting to order . They didn’t even acknowledged i was there and said something like be with you shortly or anything. Restrooms were clean but no soap in any all coca cola sodas were not working you can only get water or Powerade also no bbq sauce they said they didn’t have that either. There was a weird negative energy from the guy cutting the meat like if he makes everyone inefficient with his negative energy and rudeness to the older lady cashier. She was sweet , but was left in charge of a sinking ship . It seemed

That's by far the best I had. the side lubricated really well and the service I received was excellent. I highly recommend to eat here, the new owner has made some great improvements.

I have been in Fort Stockton for a few weeks now for work and I’ve tried about 8 different restaurants in town. None of them compared to the level of service I received here at Dickies. From the second I walked in I was greeted with smiles from Jasmine and Lexi. I ordered the competition plate because I love Brisket burnt tips and I was not disappointed. This was the best brisket I’ve had in years! The owner personally came out and greeted me. She was very nice and made the place feel like home. I highly recommend eating here since it’s under new ownership. Their rating should be higher than what it is currently (3.7). I think the old owners ratings carried over. Which is totally unfair to the new owner. Seriously, come eat here. You won’t be disappointed!
