After I had been on the road for 1,800 miles, I didn't want another burger, but it was late, I wanted to go a crash in the hotel, and nothing else sounded on the menu as if it were going to land well on my already complaining. when I say that was the best burger I ever had, I am not exaggerated. the gal who took my order, said that the rolls were made house, some angels have to work in this kitchen because this meal... What Hometown EP doesn't like about Sagebrush Cafe Gifts:
This place has its ups and downs. I have been eating here for years and it has been a good place to eat. The past 4 times, we have had to wait over 45 minutes to receive our meals when there are less that 4 other tables in the restaurant. Not sure what happened but the staff is not the same and not near as many staff hands. View all feedback.
The waitress was personal and the staff was very nice and cordial. eating was a good value for the money for the portion size and was plentiful to eat. I was disappointed with the selection of diet drinks and they were from some menu items. could use a dc to the building. overall was a pleasant experience and I will be back.
Stopped on the way to houston and really enjoyed the service and eating. they had a little restriction on the drinks, but it was worth eating! especially the mozzarella sticks!
Perfect country breakfast for our trip. I had the huf and egg and my type had the breakfast sandwich. both were so good. the eggs were perfectly cooked for both, the breakfast was delicious, and hash brews were crispy and tasteful. everything was fat, but who doesn't love fat? service was excellent. see them pictures!
Absolutely the best burger my wife has had in West Texas and she is very picky! The onion rings are spectacular! My green chili omlett was stuffed with goods and the hash browns were just toasty enough. Often the H/B'S are over looked. We will be back !
I like to stop here whenever I come through Ft. Stockton. Come to think of it, sometimes I come through Ft. Stockton TO stop here. First really good country breakfast with biscuits and (very good) gravey I've found east of El Paso. Staff is friendly and seems like a cool place in general. I'm looking forward to overnighting sometime to check out the bar and evening food options.
