Skipper's Cove Seafood Grill

Fantastic food!! Outstanding service!!! Drinks were excellent!! Tricky to find but well worth it!!!

Didn't know the place was undergoing renovations, so only place to sit was on outside overflow patio, and it was packed. Only 2 servers and a food runner working but they were on the top of their games. And EVEN being overwhelmed, they were pleasant and polite. The food came out quickly and not only was it delicious but the portion sizes were huge. The alcoholic drinks were tasty and of course sitting on the water was beautiful. I can not wait to return when their renovations are complete and to try other menu items since they had a lot of choices that all looked good.

We took a 20 minute detour, our initial route is from Coco beach Miami. And it's well worth this little getaway The seafood products are fresh, the cooking is mastered. The unpretentious restaurant is on the edge of a marina and despite the bad weather the setting is very pleasant and for us French travelers in full American immersion. THANKS

2nd time here. Was happy hour on Monday so not too busy, casual atmosphere with view of boats in the cove. Service was good. Started out with the PEI mussels and Chardonnay, very tasty and plentiful. Ordered the fresh local snapper with lemon caper sauce, was excellent...both times! My husband really likes the shrimp and grits, but if you like fresh fish, they killed it!
