I dined at A Touch of Brooklyn today, and everything—from the staff to the food—was fantastic. My waitress was incredibly helpful, and I couldn't be more thankful, especially since it was my first visit. You should definitely check out this restaurant; I promise it will be one of the best experiences you’ve had this year! View all feedback.
What Alessia Okuneva doesn't like about A Touch Of Brooklyn:
VERRY VERRY DISAPPOINTED. Born in Brooklyn raised in Queens NY. Haven’t been here since they moved from there original location. They might have the same name but the rest is history. Limited menu, no parmesan dinners only Nasty dry tasting pizza (the dough is not hand made) only salads, hero’s and pasta dinners. Not worth the trip. Will not return. Try Loutina’s Pizza in the Winn Dixie shopping center off N Kings Hw... View all feedback.
Got the wings and shrimp parm sub. Wings were pretty standard for a non chain pizza place. However the blue cheese had a watered down consistency even dripped off of my dipped wing. Meh.. Now the shrimp parm sub. I'm most upset about that as I was looking forward to it the most. First two bites was like chewing on a sub roll with a soggy sauced center. I'd thought they forgot to add the shrimp. So I opened it up and saw 6 battered shrimp. Given the texture you could tell they were precooked and frozen similar to overcooked Gordon's you'd buy at the grocery store. Did zero to add to the taste of the sandwich. Had I not been hungry and paid for it, definitely would've gone in the trash. Nothing personal. Just being honest. Wasted my money on it. If you can go to Frank and Al's, go there.
*they asked me to remove comment due to AC issues, my comment is starting solely because they shouldn't be able to accept orders if they're not open* I placed an order online at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday the website says that they are open until 10:00 at 9:00 when our food still had not arrived I tried to call both the number on Google as well as the number on their website and both went to a voicemail. So I get in the car drive down to the location, and it is CLOSED. I am not local, I leave tomorrow and they are closed on Sundays. I am very upset. If you're not open, you should not be able to accept orders. Unprofessional. I will be calling Monday!
Brand new restaurant. we were the only customers there. Owner/water was very nice and our food was fresh and good. the price was fair. 27.00 for two for lunch. I'd go back.
Ordered a Margherita pizza and got this. Burnt at the top and bottom, missing basil toppings and cold upon arrival. Very disappointed
