This Bojangles location has the worst breakfast staff and an extremely frustrating drive-thru experience. Despite saying they’ll be with you shortly, you can wait over 10 minutes to place your order, even with only a few cars ahead. The staff seem unable to multitask and lack basic courtesy. Asking to order just after 10 AM might lead to being told to "stop being rude" while they promise to be with you "in just a few minutes," which is unacceptable. No drive-thru should take that long simply to take an order. The staff’s rudeness is off-putting and makes you hesitant to speak up for fear of retaliation. It would be wise to either replace the breakfast team or manage them better, as their behavior harms the business.
When I went to pick up my order at 5 AM—just 30 minutes before I had to be at work—I was told they weren’t open yet, even though it was already past 5. I later found out they were waiting on a biscuit delivery, so my order wouldn’t be ready anytime soon. Frustrated, I canceled my order and said I wouldn’t be coming back. I called again and spoke with the manager, who told me my order was finally ready at 6 AM. It shouldn’t be this hard to place an order. I also asked the branch manager to call me back today, but I still haven’t received any response.
I ordered the 20-piece family meal at Bojangles, which came with 8 bone-in pieces, 12 tenders, 3 sides, 8 biscuits, and a half-gallon of tea. We loved every bite! The chicken was cooked perfectly, with crispy skin and juicy meat, and it wasn’t greasy at all. The meal was enough for 9 people, though we made a few extra sides to make sure everyone was full. Overall, it was great value for the price, and we’ll definitely be returning for the family meal. It’s so much better than what other places offer!
I had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant. The manager was arguing loudly with a drive-thru customer, which created a chaotic atmosphere. I placed my order, but there wasn't enough dirty rice to fill it, so they substituted Cajun pinto beans, which turned out to be gummy and unappetizing—I ended up throwing them away. The chicken had been kept under the heat lamp for way too long; it was hard, dry, and inedible, so that also went in the trash. The biscuits were overbaked as well. The only thing that was somewhat edible was a small dish of coleslaw meant for two people. Overall, I'd advise against going after 3 PM.
