Locals informed me that this was the go-to place if I wanted to try Poutine. It did not disappoint. I went with the Poutine topped with fried chicken and it was delicious. View all feedback.
We ordered mango/strawberry frozen yogurt, a 10-inch house pizza, a 10-inch meat lover's pizza, onion rings, and two hamburgers with bacon and cheese. Special thanks to Shelby for recommending Fort Pizza's delicious frozen yogurt! The hamburgers came loaded with white onion, pickles, iceberg lettuce, and tomato. The pizzas were loaded with toppings. My coworker and I appreciated the owner's sense of humor.
I heard great things about this place through word of mouth. Tucked away in a modest building just two blocks off the main highway, this hidden gem lived up to all the hype. Upon arriving, I engaged in some friendly banter with the owners and had a few laughs while making my meal selection. I had to call ahead because I couldn't find a menu online, and the kind lady on the other end explained that they don't have an online presence. However, I have posted photos of their menu so others can see what they offer. While the menu may not be extensive, every item is clearly crafted with care and skill. My family thoroughly enjoyed the Hawaiian pizza, fish and chips, Bacon Cheeseburger, and deep-fried mushrooms. The food was seriously delicious - don't miss out on trying it!
This restaurant is amazing! It may not look like much at first, but once you try the poutine and pierogis, you'll understand why locals rave about it. The owners are friendly and the prices are reasonable. Forget about trying any other place – this is the best in town. Plus, they have a cozy wood-burning fireplace that you can sit by.
