If when traveling you want a healthier alternative, this is it. It is a health food store and restaurant. Everything made from scratch. We had the pizza and broccoli Maccaroni. The pizza was very good. Big serving size and the Broccoli Mac was bland. Also a good sized serving. My Hubby and I split the food and there was lots. Good selection of lunch items to chose from. You need to get there before 12 (they sell out)... View all feedback.
Good small load. a lot of whole and natural food. the small diner inside is very good. vegan options available. I'd go back there. updated by previous review on 2018-12-18
There is no review in a past, so I will do one. they still have amazing vegan options. it is so bright and welcoming here. the personal is really friendly. there are vegan sweets like banana bread, cheesecake, chocolate hafer flour kekse dinge, soouo good! they also have smoothies and today there was a whole potato dillsuppet with delicious brot, we also ordered a southwestern buddha bowl, and a roasted veggie quinoa salad, which were also delicious! they recommend this small juniper!
Stopped here while driving the alaska autobahn. has vegan shepards cake that was excellent, and got vegan sausages to take on the road. great find in an isolated part of the country that can be very close with veg options.
Found this place on happy cow when we recently drove from fairbanks to washington. a pretty well-stocked health food store takes up about 2/3 of the building and then an amazing coffee shop/bakery takes up the other 1/3. the first time I went there, it was almost lunch so I was treated with vegan butter, nice minenstrone suppe, falafels with root plant salad and a smoothie (yes, I pulled out the sauce with the falafels was not vegan, so the keerl behind theke whipped up a delicious avocado sauce for me. he is the owner and a fabulous cook! on the way back to fairbanks we stopped again and ended up talking to the couple who owns the place. to harass the cool people! he had just made a few raw key lime cheesecakes for dying! That's great!
We stopped here thanks to an ad in the Milepost, and thank goodness we did. We ate the most amazingly filling and delicious lentil filo wraps with roasted vegetable salad sides. The price was incredibly affordable, especially for the area. We also ordered meals to go for the next day, since there was nothing listed for thousands of miles until the Alaskan border, and were satisfied with our choices. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Definitely make a point to stop here if you're driving the Alaska Highway. The frozen almond milk latte was great after it melted down a bit.
