This was my first time dining at this restaurant and I absolutely loved it. The food was incredible - we tried their paella and for dessert, we had churros with chocolate that was to die for. The service was friendly and they served delicious sangria at our table. To top it off, there was live music and a flamenco dancer which made the experience even more enjoyable. View all feedback.
What Custumer C doesn't like about Eatapas:
I visited a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale with hopes of enjoying some authentic Spanish cuisine. After seeing the Spanish tortilla on the online menu and being drawn to it, I decided to order it. Unfortunately, when it arrived at my table, I was disappointed to find that it looked nothing like the picture on the menu and did not resemble the traditional dish at all. It appeared more like mashed potatoes and scrambled... View all feedback.
This is probably the worst experience I 've ever had in the entire US. We went there last Friday and arrived about 20 minutes before happy hour ended. Upon pulling into the parking lot a valet person came by stating we could not park right now it was valet only. My husband asked for a reason because the parking lot was pretty empty. The valet person couldn 't answer the question and said Well if you can pass this truck here you can park I guess and we did. Walked in and a hostess said would you like a bar or a table? We still have 20 minutes before the happy hour ends . I chose a table and ordered my espresso martini. I 'm glad my husband asked the waiter what else was on the happy hour menu because the answer was Oh there is no happy hour here, it 's only at the bar . I asked why I couldn 't have the same drink here since I was ordering a whole meal and the answer was Because the bartender needs to make money too (LOL very professional). Moved to the bar area, and ordered the same drink. My husband asked if he could order another drink that was not from the happy hour (new fashion) and the bartender said No it 's only 1 drink per person at a time (interesting tone). In the meantime, I 'm sitting at the bar and listening to the hostess talking about how she told me all about happy hour deals and I was not smart enough to understand (wow). Checked out after 1 drink and a shrimp appetizer. Both were average, unlike their terrible service. At this point, no ambiance or food could do it for me. To be completely honest, I was scared people would spit in my food and felt like the entire place hated me for existing.
Quite a cool experience. We've passed this restaurant so many times and seen scores of people outside either trying to get in or leave, so we were eager to see what was drawing so many people. To avoid a huge crowd, we visited on a random Tuesday night, which certainly had less traffic. We were impressed that they maintained performers every night. It felt like a portal to Spain. The guitarist and flamenco dancer were excellent, and the tapas were great. My only gripe was the inclusion of nuts on empanadas, with no mention of it on the menu. We had someone with a nut allergy in our party, and thankfully it was visable and not consumed before an incident could arise, so if you have an allergy, be sure to mention it to your waiter, and double check in case your allergant is neither noted on the menu nor visible in your dish. Otherwise, it was a great experience, and I would certainly visit again. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The prices are a bit high, but the food is incredibly delicious. They offer live music and singing on certain Fridays, giving the place a Spanish atmosphere. The menu is filled with Spanish dishes. Make sure to arrive early if you don't want to wait for a table. This is one of my top restaurants in the area. They offer many gluten-free options. Keep in mind that valet parking is the only option, so bring some cash for tipping.
We made the excellent choice to try happy hour at Eatapas. The male bartender was funny, informative, and kind. The food was on point, with fantastic tapas and delicious drinks. I highly recommend this place.
