Contribute Feedback What François Peron likes about Lighthouse Fish and Chips:
The Lighthouse serves the best Fish and Chips in the area. They have a selection of 5 different types of fish, including 2 local varieties, along with hand-cut French fries, homemade coleslaw, and tartar sauce. After trying other places and not being satisfied, the Lighthouse is now the only place I will get fish from in the area. View all feedback.
What Victor Clement doesn't like about Lighthouse Fish and Chips:
5 to my meal I was sick. the homemade french fires were limp and greasy. I have no idea what was in the cole Slav. I ordered walleye, but I'm pretty sure it was white fish. fish was greasy and tasteless. I came into this restaurant, based on the very positive reviews of others. do not believe that the positive assessments. this place is terrible and a complete waste of her money. avoid this place like the plague. Menu a bit limited, environment friendly but view not great. A good place for a quick meal. Great place to pop in on - they don't take reservations.
Popped in to 'The Lighthouse' for the very first time and had a really amazing fresh Walleye lunch. GREAT fish n' chips for sure and the gravy was to die for. It's a little 'hole in the wall' place and the atmosphere is very homey and down to earth. Nothing fancy here, but.....'good eats'. There were five of us for lunch and we all had the Walleye and Fries. :)
YOU MAKE THE BEST FOOD EVER, YOU FEED ME WELL YOU AMAZING COUPLE I LOVE YOU GUYS. Great fish great chips great owners great granddaughter named jasmine the other grandchildren are alright but I mean you can't beat your main keep feeding me and I'll keep the good reviews up
Went here under a recommendation by a co-worker and happy we went. Décor is nice and homey. Service is decent and didn't have to wait long. I had the walleye dinner and I enjoyed it. Will consider in the future!
This place is AWESOME! If you're a hungry traveler and want FRESH fish, this is the place! This ins't a 3-star Michelin restaurant. And I'm glad. I'd rather pay for an affordable, great-tasting meal. Yeah, there might be a coffee stain on the carpet. There SHOULD be. Everyone complains about Mom and Pop places going out of business , but then they complain because the stuffed fish on the wall has some dust on it. Dirty? It's a fish and chips shop...the lady's husband is literally frying our fish 15 feet away from us. That's the way it should be.Anyway, I missed the annual trip last year, so apparently the owner was gone for a while. Don't know about that. But apparently she's back. If you want good, fresh fish from a place with a little character, go here.
