A great dive bar. The drinks are priced well, lots of snacks for sale and it has a pool table. The owner is a nice guy who is open to telling you about the area or give recommendations. Nothing fancy, which is exactly what we wanted. View all feedback.
What Alvar Birkeland doesn't like about Gartch's International Pub:
Went in here to play pool which you have to pay for. People treat you disrespectful if they do not know you including the owner. Who said we should have bought drinks. Not coming back. Pool table doesn't have enough space around it anyway to play well View all feedback.
"HOME sweet HOME" is a cozy little restaurant nestled in the heart of the city. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with charming decor and friendly staff. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, all made with fresh and high quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the homemade pasta and the decadent desserts. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service. I highly recommend "HOME sweet HOME" for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.
Cold Beer, Dive bar run by a bonafide legend. Could use some ice in the urinals or an update. Place was packed with young co-eds enjoying the holiday.
I LOVE this place so much! Not just for the atmosphere (good for people watching and celebrities frequent here) BUT most importantly for the food.
This place is somewhat of a hidden gem, although it has a bit of a shabby appearance from the outside. It seems to be trying to replicate a pub atmosphere reminiscent of downtown Dublin, but it falls a bit short. The beer is served cold, and while the restrooms are somewhat outdated, they are kept clean.
This is a fantastic dive bar. The drinks are reasonably priced, there are plenty of snacks available, and it features a pool table. The owner is a friendly guy who is happy to share information about the area or offer recommendations. It’s nothing extravagant, which is exactly what we were looking for.
