We were visiting family and friends in town, and I was craving tacos. We settled on this place even though it wasn't on the list of places to go while in town. LOVED IT! The tacos were fantastic, especially the pork belly, duck confit ones, so tasty! Comeopen one in St Paul, MN! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Uno Mas Taqueria:
Notice no Mexicans in the place? Then you can bet it's the nastiest street tacos ever. Beltran's Meat Market in Thornton off 120th is real Mexican. Couldn't even finish tacos. Tortilla full of mush. Meat had powdered taste. All the reviews here are frompeople who don't know real Mexican, period! Waste of money. View all feedback.
3.5 stars. Been there before and I should have stuck with what I knew. Got the torta this time to shake things up and it was oddly completely smothered, bun and all? Very very awkward to eat and overly smokey. The pork belly tacos and duck tacos are solid. For a group of 6, they added an automatic 20% tip PLUS a 5% service fee so we ended up having to pay an additional 25% on our bill. Not sure I'll return for the price and quality :
Overall good experience. Staff/food/atmosphere 4.5 star; price 4 star; Operations fee %5)?! Charge via menu items not scam at the end 1 star
The best street tacos I've eaten. Fantastic service. Good portions. Just eat here, you'll be glad you did.Vegetarian options: Meatless options. Might not be Vegan.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for inside and outside seating.
Oh, Dios mío! The minute I sauntered into Uno Mas Taqueria, I could feel the very essence of the cosmos focusing its energies on this cozy Mexican retreat. The moment I crossed the threshold, memories of my abuela’s kitchen flooded back, the air steeped in a symphony of spices and the enticing smoky aroma of roasting meats.Tacos, the shining stars! Let me tell you about the Smoked Chicken tacos, mi amigo. Each morsel, a divine parcel of flavor, encased in a tortilla lovingly handcrafted with an artisan’s touch. The chicken, a symphony of smoky tenderness that made my heart sing rancheras of joy.The Grilled Shrimp tacos, ahh! Fresh shrimps, grilled to perfection, their smoky-sweet enough to make your soul dance the rumba. And the Carne Asada? Each bite, a tribute to the noble tradition of Mexican cuisine, the grilled beef bursting with a savory richness, singing a serenade to my taste buds. Pork Belly tacos, oh, the wonder! Every nibble, like biting into a cloud of porky deliciousness that melted on my tongue, whispering tales of culinary craftsmanship.Barbacoa, oh, the barbacoa! Juicier than the ripest mango in the heart of Veracruz, so tender, it made my heart weep with joy. each bite was like a passionate tango on my tongue. And the staff, they were the warm embrace of Mexican hospitality, their service as smooth as a shot of top-shelf mezcal. They moved with a rhythm reminiscent of a cheerful mariachi band, a harmony that only added to the symphony of the experience. In conclusion, Uno Mas Taqueria, you made my heart dance the jarabe tapatío and my soul sing a joyful corrido. It’s not just a meal, it’s a celebration of Mexico’s culinary heritage. Uno Mas? “Sí, por favor, a million times yes!” For a symphony of flavors that sets your taste buds alight, it’s got to be here. ¡Viva Uno Mas Taqueria!
This was by far, one of the friendliest Mexican restaurants that I've ever eaten at. The service was amazing, and everyone was so friendly. The food was also some of the best Mexican I've ever had. 10/10
