I have been coming here for years and used to love it. Since I had moved a few years ago right before COVID I haven't been. Decided to stop in today and was pretty underwhelmed with the size of my sandwich. The best sandwich in town! This is my favorite spot for fresh deli meats.
This is definitely my go-to sandwich spot in Fort Collins. My top pick is the roast beef sandwich, which is consistently fresh and tasty. The staff is always friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. Over the years, I've never had a negative experience here. I highly recommend it!
However, since the pandemic, Obee's has switched to a counter-order system, which means you can no longer watch them prepare your sub as you move along the counter like at a traditional deli. You also can’t pick from a variety of cold veggies and sauces anymore. Now, you have to place your entire order at the beginning and hope they prepare it to your liking. I sincerely wish they would revert to the classic deli experience instead of the awkward counter setup they currently have. The atmosphere in the restaurant feels almost nonexistent! I urge them to consider what the customers want rather than what they think we want.
Customer service was way above and beyond. Best sandwiches too!
