Great portion size and generous sides. The brisket had sadly sold out by our visit, but the catfish was unexpectedly delicious for a BBQ joint. The pulled pork was decent, but could use more sauce. Loved the cornbread (favorite item actually?! ! View all feedback.
What M B doesn't like about Moe's Original B Que:
Brisket was fattie and sides were horrible. My boyfriend had the walleye which were tiny filets, and broccoli casserole which he hated. The only part of meal that was good was the cornbread and baked beans View all feedback.
Best. Fried. Chicken. Ever. I've never had something just mediocre there. The food is consistent and delish. Perfect portions. Yum!
Old Town's best BBQ Never disappoints; even on a bad day (rare) it's still the best in the area.
Every time it’s great! Even if they are out of something great there is something else even better!
Outstanding BBQ. We had the smoked chicken platter SNF the mixed smoked turkey and brisket platter. Pork green chili and beans, both made fresh. Just the right balance of flavor and spice. The collard green and corn bread were excellent. Great surprise that their marinated Cole slaw and horseradish mashed were out of this world. If you like traditional BBQ.... This place is for you! Loved it.
Born and raised on KC cue, this place was the soul food oasis I'd been looking for. Burnt end brisket just like back home, and sides just like granny's. If you're missin' that home-cooked love in ya food- this is where you find it.
