When it comes to Chinese food, this place was quite enjoyable. We approached it with some hesitation due to previous negative reviews, but our orders—primarily noodle and rice dishes—were served quickly and were nicely aromatic. At the outset, the waitstaff did toss our menus onto the table, which surprised us and caused us to lower our rating by one star. Additionally, the prices listed on the menu outside didn't ma... What 符家华 doesn't like about Richmond House Chinese Takeaway:
GARBAGE!!!It's the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever had! Honestly, I don't even want to pay for their food! I ordered two bowls of noodles, and after I finished my bowl, my wife's didn't even served! WONTON is frozen and not cooked! The brisket is too dry to swallow! Noodles are also very hard to eat. I don't know how they survived this store. I even want to pay with my credit card and they even ask me for a 10%... View all feedback.

Chinese restaurant with staff being able to speak Mandarin, Cantonese and English. The price is reasonably high given that it is next to The Loch (it is around 13 pounds for a dish of fried rice) Food quality is unexpectedly great which is comparable to those in HK. The spicy sour soup (7 pounds) is splendid, the spiciness and sourness is on the point. The fried rice well mix the sauce with the rice and the rice used is perfect for frying (soft one), yet the texture of the chicken might be a bit too dry. The vegetable (10 pounds) is average but still serve to soothe your mouth after tasting the tasty and spicy food, but I would say it is too pricey for an easy food.
After enjoying a cruise on Loch Ness, we found ourselves in Fort Augustus, where we discovered that nearly every dining option was closed, including the fish and chips place our tour guide highly recommended. That’s when we came across this restaurant. We noticed some fellow Chinese travelers from our tour already dining there, and after checking with them about the food, they assured us it was good. We decided to order some hot and sour soup and beef chow mein to take away. After days of eating pies and sandwiches, that meal on the bus turned out to be the highlight! The hot and sour soup was delicious and loaded with ingredients, while the beef chow mein had fantastic 'wok hei'—the wonderful aroma and flavor from the wok. I highly recommend giving it a try!
If you're searching for authentic Chinese flavors rather than unusual fusion dishes, this is the right spot for you. Don't pay attention to the one-star ratings; they clearly don't understand what good food is.

At the outset, the waitstaff did toss our menus onto the table, which surprised us and caused us to lower our rating by one star. Additionally, the prices listed on the menu outside didn't match the actual prices inside; each item was about £3 more, so they really need to update that menu.
