Normally very good, but for some reason they were closed this time, but no notification left why
Terrible, terrible and terrible! We waited in an empty restaurant for 1 hour for the food. With two small kids crying of hunger. After kindly asking where is the food : wait 10 mins! So then finally came the food just for the kids, the others had to wait another 10 mins. Well long story short there was very unpolite staff, quality food not good at all, schnitzel was so thin meat that you’ve barely seen the meat there, nobody taking empty plates or asking for a refill. So from us a big NO! The worst Italian restaurant I’ve been to!
Yes prices are cheap... and you get what you pay for. Where to start. Fluffy pizza dough. Onion so raw that it looks as if they sprinkled after taking the pizza out of the oven... and don't think service is any better. They have to be chased in order to get their attention. As other people commented, paying can be an issue. They have a paper at the entrance saying they accept maestro cards. We provided two. Both with funds but they failed. The staff were completely helpless. We offered to make a bank transfer and show them the result on the app right away but they refused as they would not see the money in their account right away. I guess a couple with a small kid and a 35 EUR bill look like wanting to run away with a elaborated scheme in order to get three free pizzas. So they made me drive to the nearest village, get cash from an ATM (which I did with the same card they said didn't work) and return to settle the bill. As I said, very rude and helpless people. It was a stop en route so I had no intention of coming back anyway.
What a bad experience. Bad pizza (Marinera of bad quality that didn 't have any seafood but only tuna, and Prosciutto without prosciutto but with just a simple ham. The worst, however, was the service. It 's been long time since we have seen such a rude service: starting from the waiters and finishing with the manager of the shift. They had their payment machine broken, and they asked us to go and get cash in a very rude and bad way. And it was their problem in the end! No sorry or any other apology. What a disaster. I hope they realize one day how to treat people respectfully when serving others.
