I happened to spot the restaurant on my way home and decided to stop in for lunch. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and directed to a table. After browsing the menu, I was unsure about what to order, so I asked the waiter for his recommendation, and he suggested the Effie hot. I’m glad I took his advice! The poppy seed dressing on the sandwich is delightful and complements the ham perfectly. The dill dip that comes with the chips was a nice touch, providing a refreshing alternative to salsa. While I wasn’t particularly fond of the coleslaw, the chips and half a sandwich were definitely filling enough.

I ordered the grown-up grilled cheese sandwich, adding some spiral-cut ham, and it was fantastic. The bread was a standout, topped with toasted sesame seeds that enhanced the flavor. The crisps and dill dip were also excellent, and the fruit cup was filled with fresh fruit. My neighbor tried a different ham sandwich and couldn't stop praising it. We also shared a dish of apricot almond goat cheese with crackers. If I had one small critique, it was that the goat cheese was too cold, making it a bit difficult to cut and spread. Otherwise, everything was incredible and reasonably priced. It's worth noting that this is a Christian establishment, which may be relevant to some. I will definitely return to explore more of their menu!

It a... read more I visited this local restaurant this week and decided to try the chicken club wrap with pesto mayonnaise. The wrap was toasted, which I really appreciated. It also came with a side of fresh fruit, which is always a nice addition, and I ordered their chicken and vegetable soup as well. While the soup could have used a bit more seasoning, it was still quite tasty. The ordering process was straightforward, and picking it up was hassle-free. I definitely plan to return and sample more of their menu.
