I ordered a bridal shower cake here and it was so good people went back for seconds and and we had no leftovers. I just stopped in for a coffee and a treat and the staff are always so cheerful and friendly. I highly recommend Latham Bakery!!

I love this bakery and cafe. Was looking for a perfect mocha and wasn 't disappointed. The pastries were a bonus and yes, everything tastes as good as it looks. Clean and well kept. Very friendly, personable staff. Steady stream of customers. Historic building with a hint of modern design; rustic with updates. Smooth coffee, sweet bundt cakes, moist cake balls. Highly recommend going there!

I had requested a co... read more I ordered several cakes from Latham, and they were all excellent. However, I must especially praise the strawberry cake; it was phenomenal! I had requested a collage cake for my husband, and typically, the frosting from other bakers tends to be thick, pasty, and unappetizing. But Latham's frosting was incredible—it simply melted in your mouth, blending beautifully with the image collage. It was fantastic! I highly recommend their cakes, which are reasonably priced at $35, and I can't say enough good things about their delicious offerings. The staff is super friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful.

The ambiance, both inside and outside, beautifully showcases the building’s unique charm with features like exposed brick and patterned floor tiles. I’ve mainly enjoyed their sweet pastries—danishes, cinnamon rolls, and various loaves—alongside an iced latte. The pastries are light, buttery, and absolutely delicious. While their flavored lattes don’t use house-made syrups, this isn’t really a specialty coffee spot. Their espresso, however, is smooth and definitely surpasses Starbucks. In my view, their real focus is on the bakery, and they do that exceptionally well. I give them a solid 10/10.

I’ve known for years that their desserts are amazing, but I only recently discovered their excellent variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches. The photo shows half a roast beef sandwich and half a harvest salad. I expected to prefer the sandwich, but the salad was the real standout. If you’re looking for a quick, healthy lunch, Latham Bakery is a must-try.
