The hush puppies and fries were also amazing. Everything was cooked fresh to order and served piping hot! I will definitely be back! I dined in, and the restaurant was spotless.

I found this restaurant back in 201... read more The food here is outstanding, and even though it takes some time to get served, the experience is definitely worth the wait. I found this restaurant back in 2014 when I lived in the area, and I make it a point to return every time I'm back in town. However, during my most recent visit, I encountered an uncomfortable situation: the two staff members at the front forgot to mute the intercom, which led me to overhear their comments about my wife. Additionally, while we were getting a refill, they were openly leering at her right in front of me. I addressed their behavior, but they appeared indifferent, especially the larger of the two. If you're craving delicious catfish, this is the place to go, but just be aware of some unprofessional behavior from the front staff.

Having visited many seafood spots in search of the perfect catfish seasoning and flavor, I believe I’ve finally found it at Doe Belly’s Catfish Cafe. The atmosphere reminded me of my hometown in Mississippi, and the food fit that feeling perfectly. I’m eager to try every dish on the menu! I might even ask for some seasoned paper towels to take home, haha. I highly recommend this place!

I ordered the fish and shrimp dish, and the fish was fried flawlessly—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, with a fresh, perfectly seasoned flavor. The shrimp was tasty as well, but the fish truly sealed the deal for me as a lifelong customer. You definitely need to try it for yourself!

The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and served promptly. The woman at the counter was incredibly friendly—one of the nicest I've encountered. Looking forward to coming back on the third Thursday of next month.
