Forked River German Butcher Shop

As a truck driver, I recently made a delivery to this restaurant and I must say it was the best experience I've ever had. The staff was friendly, professional, and very nice. I was able to go inside while my truck was being unloaded (special thanks to Andrew) and the selection of food was incredible. If you're ever in the area, you definitely need to stop by this restaurant. The people there are fantastic.

This restaurant in Forked River, NJ is one of the best around. They offer fresh butcher items, meats, cold cuts, bakery goods, and delicious breads, as well as a variety of cooked meals. You can dine in at this fantastic place with friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Always a great place to stop in for lunch or dinner. Can't go wrong. Don't forget to stop at the bakery on the way out and get some dessert. Staff is always friendly. Order from the kiosk if you are getting a sandwich. If you are ordering something hot, just walk up to the counter and someone will help you.

I've been to the German Butcher twice since I moved down here. I was to their previous location (D.A. Barsch) in Toms River years ago. My favorite style of hot dog is the German style pork/beef or pork/beef/veal mix. Especially if it's made at a butcher/pork store. Love this place! I?ve ordered lunch here, I?ve ordered an entire Thanksgiving meal for my family. No difference in quality, flavor or portions. Everything here is DELICIOUS and fresh. The staff is amazing. For such a busy place, they are never too busy to answer questions or direct you to where you need to go. The ordering process is quick organized. Good value for your money. One of my favorite places for cold cuts, meats, salads, or just a sandwich.
